What makes a project a “specific” industrialization project?

If the requirements go beyond the standard mobile and stationary service areas – new technologies, unusual quantity profiles, special quality requirements or a combination of both. If in doubt: just ask.

At what stage should Handtmann be involved in a specific project?

As early as possible. DfM optimization during development saves most adjustment loops. If you involve us from the concept phase onwards, you will achieve series maturity faster and with less risk.

Can small batches or pilot projects also be scaled up for industrial production?

Yes, we develop production concepts from small series to scalable large series. It is important that the concept is planned with the growth path in mind from the outset – so that the line does not become a brake at some point.
